Fees & Sliding Scale

Rates vary depending on the type of therapy or service provided. Standard fees are:

• Individual Session: $100.00 USD (50 minutes per session)
• Couples & Family Session: $150.00 USD (75 Minutes per session)
• Pre-Marital Session: $120.00 USD (75 minutes per session)
• Clinical Supervision: $85.00 USD (50 Minutes per session)

Sliding Scale: Available for eligible individuals, including veterans, police officers, and active-duty military personnel.

International Residents: Clients residing outside the U.S., especially those in Canada, are encouraged to contact me to discuss applicable rates and options based on current exchange rates.

Payment Options & Authorization

To help ensure a smooth and consistent counseling process, Kapital Counseling Services accepts secure, HIPAA-compliant payments through Square or Stripe. Payment must be submitted to complete your appointment.

Accepted payment methods include:

• Credit & Debit Cards – Pay through secure Square/Stripe payment links or invoices.
  • HSA/FSA Cards – Accepted through Square/Stripe. Please ensure your HSA/FSA card is active and has sufficient funds.
  • Google Pay & Apple Pay – Accepted through Square/Stripe; you may use your mobile wallet when completing your secure payment link or invoice.
• CashApp ($rhoallen) – You may pay via CashApp. Please include your first name only in the payment note. Note: CashApp is not HIPAA-compliant; by choosing this option, you accept any inherent privacy risks.

Important: Do not include personal health details or reasons for your visit in payment notes to protect your privacy.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

To ensure fairness and availability for all clients, we require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling:

• Clients are required to cancel or reschedule appointments at least 24 hours in advance.
• If cancellation occurs with more than 24 hours’ notice, clients may request a full refund or apply the payment to a future session.
• For cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice or no-shows, the session fee is non-refundable, and no credit will be issued.

Exceptions may be made in cases of emergency or unforeseen circumstances at the clinician’s discretion.

Examples of acceptable emergencies include:
– Sudden illness or medical emergencies (e.g., hospitalization, severe injury).
– Family emergencies (e.g., death or critical situation involving an immediate family member).
– Accidents preventing ability to participate.
– Widespread power outages or Internet service disruptions preventing connection.
– Severe weather events or natural disasters causing extended power or Internet loss.
– Unanticipated work or military obligations requiring immediate attention.

Verification:
If repeated emergency cancellations occur, Kapital Counseling Services may request reasonable documentation (e.g., doctor’s note, employer statement, proof of weather alerts) to verify the circumstances. This helps ensure fairness and availability for all clients.
